The issue is not desire. The issue is the identity doing the exercise.
Many students know the phrases. They can explain the wish fulfilled, living in the end, and SATS. But the moment before sleep becomes a private performance review: Did I feel it enough? Did I visualize correctly? Will it happen now?
That is not the state fulfilled. That is the state still negotiating.
The objective of SATS is smaller and cleaner: choose one after-the-fact scene that would be ordinary if the desire were already part of your life. Then rest there long enough for the body to stop treating it as a negotiation.
